King of the Greens Power Rankings - April 2008

1. Tommy Dugan - After capturing the season opening Big Daddy Classic at Lexington Golf Club, Dugan vaults up five spots to capture the top spot in the April Power Rankings. A net-68 at LGC, home of the Davidson County Amatuer, was enough to garner Dugan $105.00 to put him atop the Player of the Year race and the money list after one event.

2. Skip Mace - After missing the majority of 2007 with a variety of health issues, Mace had a successful return to the TGA Tour where he lost in a scorecard playoff to champion Tommy Dugan after firing a gross-85 at the 70 year-old
course. Mace makes the biggest move of the month in the KotG Rankings.

3. Chad Hedrick - Hedrick, the defending Player of the Year, tied for the day's lowest round with a gross-80 that helped him to a 5th place finish. Along the way Hedrick picked up a greenie and a skin to win $30.00 in prize money. He drops two spots in this months KotG race.

4. Dru Broadway - The tour's highest handicapper, Broadway is slowly gaining the confidence to compete on tour as evidenced by an 8th place finish last month. Broadway showed an improved short game and won the season's first greenie on the par-3 3rd hole at LGC to remain in the 4th spot in this month's rankings.

5. Ted Prestwood - Prestwood drops three spots to #5 in this week's rankings after a solid 4th place finish at Lexington. Prestwood lost to Dwight Clark in a scorecard playoff to finish just out of the money.

6. Dwight Clark - Clark used a 3rd place finish, on the strength of 3 birdies at LGC, to jump into the KofG Power Rankings for the first time. Clark, a former TGA Player of the Year, won $75.00 with his third place finish and 3 skins.

7. Tom Dugan - Dugan's 7th place finish at LGC, although not spectacular, was enough to allow him to hang onto a place in the King of the Greens Power Rankings for at least one more month. Dugan stays at the same #7 spot he held last month.

Falling out of the Rankings this month: Randy Griffin, Jackie King
