What: The Spring Invitational GOLO tournament
When: Friday May 15, 2009 @ 7pm.
Where: Ted Prestwood's house
2356 Old Greensboro Rd in Thomasville (27360 for those GPS-addicts)
Cost: $20.00 (this will cover your entry into the tournament plus food - which will likely
be pizza/wings)
Alcohol: BYOB
Format: 72-hole (4 rounds) tournament style format. Round 2 will begin when each player has completed 18 holes of play. Highest scores will roll first each round (that means the leader will roll last each round). An 18-hole playoff will be held to break all ties within top 3 places.
Courses: Myrtle Beach area courses to be determined by tournament host
Prizes: Payouts for top 3 places. 1st = 50% of prize pool, 2nd = 30%, 3rd = 20%. There will be a $10.00 bonus for lowest 18-hole round (ties broken by scorecard playoff)

The first official TGA GOLO tournament of the season, The GOLO Spring Invitational, will be held Friday, May 15th, 2009 at the home of Ted Prestwood, co-chairman of the TGA Entertainment & GOLO Committee.
Start time for the event will be announced at a later date and tournament format will be presented on the TGA web site by Sunday, May 3rd. Entry fee will be no more than $20.00. Official confirmation will come later this week.

ReplyDeleteare we playing from the tips in GOLO or the senior tees bc/ we have a couple old farts playing. just wondering...... this could also help the hackers as well if we all play from the seniors like turtle.
